What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that are downloaded to your computer or mobile device when you visit a website. Cookies usually contain the name of the server from which the cookie was sent; the lifetime of the cookie and the value, which is usually some randomly generated unique number. Cookies by themselves do not allow you to be identified and it is not possible to determine who you are specifically with them.
Why are cookies used?
Cookies enable the website to recognize the user's device and store some information about the user's settings or past actions. Cookies therefore help the website to 'remember' your settings or information (e.g. that you are already logged in on the website; data previously entered in forms; items placed in the shopping cart, etc.) by you do not need to enter your data again and again when you visit again. This makes various tasks easier for the user, so the use of the website becomes simpler, easier and more efficient.
Notice, consent and cookie settings
By clicking on the button "Allow all and close" or by clicking on the link "Save settings and close", at the level of the cookie notification, you give your consent to the use of all types of cookies for the indicated purposes specified in the notification. If you continue to browse the website without the aforementioned consent, only cookies that are absolutely necessary for the proper functioning of the website will be installed on your device.
Cookie settings in the web browser
They are always enabled because they are required for the basic operation ('functionality') of the website and the website would not function properly without them. They can only be disabled by changing your browser settings. This includes cookies that are used to store content on the page during browsing or between visits to the website. With their help, they function safely and correctly, e.g. "shopping basket" and the payment process ('check-out').
These enable us to monitor the activities of website users to improve its functionality and user experience (e.g. increase the speed of loading and operation of the website). These cookies do not collect information through which users could be identified, but the information is collected in an anonymous way.
